Very recently, we started the morning walk to keep us fit. One day around 7 AM, I saw a truck outside of Hedua Park, Kolkata selling vegetables. While asked they said, this is the Sufal Bangla scheme (a government initiative). I was surprised seeing fresh vegetables, so we decided to shop from the mobile truck later.

After a week, we finally purchased some vegetables from there. Vegetables were definitely fresh but the price difference with the local market was inconsistent. Few items were a bit costly and few were cheap. Although the complete experience of purchasing was quite good. They have baskets to take all the needed vegetables to the billing counter at once. After you pay the amount you will get a system generated bill.

I was searching for this to know more about the Sufal Bangla Scheme and found a website “http://sufalbangla.in“. It has every detail about the scheme. Even they have a webpage to locate nearest counters based on district. The best part is, you also have the date-wise price listed, seems to get regular update.

I felt that the initiative is worth spreading. Despite having minimal price differences, they sell fresh vegetables. Just check out the below link to find out the nearest counter to you. If feasible do shop at least once and let us all know your experience in the comment box.
