In Nainital Bike Trip Preparations, we made a rough plan to visit Agra, Nainital, Munsiyari, Kausani, Ranikhet, and Lucknow for 15 days. I know this is a bit long list for a honeymoon trip, but it was our first mistake. Then we started packing literally, we tried to accommodate everything in our luggage bags. Finally, we had to cut down a chunk of them.

After our marriage we chose to ride on our honeymoon trip, there were a lot of places in our mind, Kashmir, Goa, Kanyakumari but we chose Uttarakhand for some reasons, firstly my wife never been on a 500+ kilometers ride before, then I was not used to with 2000+ kilometers ride and finally it was our honeymoon so we did not want to be stressed out throughout the ride. But who knows what is going to happen!

I was used to watching a lot of moto vloggers on YouTube, so I purchased the Scoyco tank bag and Cramster saddle bag for our motorcycle, Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350, to organize all luggage, which also ensures the proper balance of the motorcycle. I did not have any idea how to choose them, so I made a lot of mistakes and wasted my money on the Tank bag, which I never used after this trip. The review will come off those bags in some days.

By now, you have already figured out that our Nainital bike trip preparations were kind of hectic. On Day 1, we did not have a night halt, which was our biggest mistake in the whole trip. As a result, riding for almost 36 hours without any experience was a real pain. I had borrowed a backrest from one of my colleagues, which helped my wife a lot during the trip. This trip helped us to gain some experience in long-distance touring and also boosted to ride often.

Uttarakhand has many places to offer mesmerizing nature’s beauty and if you are with your dearest one, the experience will be unmatched. The daily hustle of our life always makes us tired and boring. We needed a break and then, we decided our honeymoon Nainital Trip.

We were planning our first super-long ride after marriage to Uttarakhand. It was not possible to cover entire Uttarakhand in just 15 days. But we tried to cover Nainital, Koushani, Munsiyari, and en-route attractions. Being on first 4000+ KMs ride (Kolkata to Munsiyari and back), we planned a lot and obviously, most of it went to the vein. We made a lot of mistakes, faced serious problems and later all this become a precious experience for us. We learned a lot from this ride, how to plan a ride, anticipate problems and its solution. Will share all of this in upcoming posts.

Now, the best we had seen in Uttarakhand was Lakes, Jungle, Waterfalls, Snowy Mountains and more.
